Don't be fooled, as a parent you need to pay attention to what goes on and you will see for yourself. There are other issues also which I will not get into on this forum but trust me when I tell you this school is NOT what it used to be, and definitely NOT a 5-star school anymore. THESE TEACHERS ARE AGING AND ARE NOT AS ATTENTATIVE AS IN YEARS PAST. The parent comment above mine is absolutely spot-on.
It wasn't until I confronted the situation head-on was I told they had "no idea" these things were happening. I have had NUMEROUS issues with goings on in the class, wrong papers coming home, my child being mistaken for ANOTHER child for the first 3 weeks in school, and the list goes on and on. My middle child has had a positive experience overall, but I certainly wouldn't consider it wonderful, and now I'm beginning to worry about my daughter, who is now just starting out in Kindergarten. My oldest had a wonderful experience, never any problems. All 3 of my children attend, and had attended, Holland Township School.
